Digital Hollywood Content Summit

Hosted by Glasgow Phillips, Author, The Royal Nonesuch, South Park

Glasgow Phillips is a founding member of Maker Studios, a YouTube network of 150+ channels

now earning more than 300 million monthly views, where he serves as head of development.

From 2002-2009 Glasgow worked mostly in animated television, writing, consulting, and/

or producing on the animated series South Park (Comedy Central), Father of the Pride

(DreamWorks/NBC), The Adventures of Chico and Guapo (MTVN), Code Monkeys (G4), and

Kung Fu Panda (Nick). He also worked as a writer for branded entertainment projects for Post

and Pepsi brands. In 2006 he wrote and directed the feature film Undead or Alive, a zombie

Western horror-comedy starring Chris Kattan (SNL) and James Denton (Desperate Housewives);

the film was distributed worldwide, and you may see it on late night cable from time to time.

In 2007 Glasgow’s non-fiction book about the Y2K tech bubble, The Royal Nonesuch, was

published by the Black Cat imprint of Grove/Atlantic. The book is now in development for feature

adaptation with documentary filmmaker Amir Bar-Lev (My Kid Could Paint That, The Tillman

Story). Glasgow’s debut novel Tuscaloosa (William Morrow & Co.) is also in development for

feature adaptation.
