Brian Gerber, Principal, Gerber Rigler
Brian Gerber is the award-winning producer of Tree Media Group’s full-length environmental feature documentary The 11th Hour featuring Leonardo DiCaprio, distributed by Warner Bros., and the groundbreaking accompanying branded online community 11th Hour Action. Through Tree Media, Brian drove an initiative that registered over 2 Million youth voters during the 2004 and 2008 presidential elections for Norman Lear’s Declare Yourself online voter drive.

Brian has produced media projects across multiple platforms for Starbucks, The Weather Channel, Universal, Disney, Paramount, Fox, PBS, JPL, Harvard, The Council on Foreign Relations, Global Green USA, the International Fund for Animal Welfare, Heal the Bay, Mikhail Gorbachev, TreePeople, Bioneers, Harvard, and the Scripps Oceanographic Institute.

Brian is a board member of the International Documentary Association and a member of the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. He holds an MFA from the American Film Institute.

 

Alison Klayman, Journalist & Filmmaker, AI WEIWEI: NEVER SORRY
Alison Klayman directed and produced her first feature documentary, “Ai Weiwei: Never Sorry,” which premiered at the 2012 Sundance Film Festival and then at the 2012 Berlinale.  At Sundance the film won a Special Jury Prize for 'Spirit of Defiance'.  Klayman lived in China from 2006 to 2010, working as a freelance journalist. She speaks Mandarin and Hebrew and is a graduate of Brown University.

 

Win-Sie Tow, Outreach Manager, AI WEIWEI: NEVER SORRY
Win-Sie Tow has worked for the IFP Market, Hamptons International Film Festival, Tribeca Film Festival and as associate producer on A Jihad for Love and assistant for The Visitors. From 2007-2011, she was the Coordinator of the Sundance Documentary Film Program. During that time, she also participated as an IndieLink host for Film Independent and served on the jury for the IDA Documentary Awards, LA Asian Pacific Film Festival, San Diego Asian Film Festival, and CAAM Media Fund. Win-Sie is a graduate of Northwestern University’s Radio/TV/Film department. She is currently the Outreach Manager for Ai Weiwei: Never Sorry.

 

Daniel Barasch, Co-Founder, Delancey Underground
Dan Barasch is Co-Founder of the Delancey Underground project, which aims to create a subterranean park on the Lower East Side of New York City.  He is former head of partnerships at PopTech, an NGO focused on promoting socially innovative applications of technology.  Dan has previously worked within New York City government, as well as at Google, UNICEF, the 9/11 Survivors' Fund, and the World Affairs Council, where he produced a show for National Public Radio.
